One Year Warranty Return Policy

Baden Sports offers a one-year, limited bat warranty* which covers one time from date of purchase replacement of certain bats where a manufacturing defect results, in normal field usage, in severe denting, cracking, breaking, broken Axe handle or detachment of end cap. The product must be purchased within the U.S. and must be from an Axe bat Authorized Dealer.

What is the normal turn-around time on warranty bat claims? Why do I have to send it back to you?
A customer service representative will be in touch with you within 24 hours of submitting your claim. Once we receive returned bat & determine it complies with warranty, you can expect a replacement within 5-7 business days. The entire process typically takes between 2-4 weeks.
Why does my replacement bat say "no warranty"?
Axe bats are under a one year, one time warranty. This means that we will replace a bat one time, but the replaced bat will not be eligible for replacement.
What doesn't the warranty cover?

This warranty does not cover:

  • Bats that have been abused, altered in any way or mistreated.
  • Bats that have been used in a commercial batting cage.
  • Bats purchased at auction or on auction websites; used bats purchased from resellers.
  • Bats that have been used in temperatures under 60 degrees (15 degrees C).
  • Bats purchased from non-authorized Baden dealers or individuals.
  • Grip replacement; graphics, paint, decals or stickers.


Return Instructions for Warranty Bats

Step 1: Fill out the form to the right to submit a Warranty Claim Request (damaged bat, within one year of purchase)


Step 3: Ship the bat and original Proof of Purchase with the Return Authorization Form. Please make sure the RA# is clearly marked on the outside of your package. Postage and all shipping (and insurance costs, if desired) shall be paid by the customer. Shipping instructions will be sent along with the Return Authorization Form.

Step 4: If Baden agrees that the bat or product is defective and covered under the warranty, we will send out a repaired or replacement bat of equal or greater value. Shipments of repaired or replaced bats must go to a U.S. address.

*Please note: You must save your original receipt from your authorized Baden reseller as proof of purchase. It is required to return the bat. Third party receipts, such as PayPal, Paypoint, etc. will not be accepted. Products returned without proof of purchase may not be warranted. 


*In order to qualify for this warranty, the bat must be used exclusively for the described purpose; i.e., softball bats for softball, youth baseball bats for youth baseball, etc. Baden does not approve of or authorize the purchaser, or any other person, to physically alter the bat in any manner for any use. Such alterations void the warranty and potentially violate Baden's patents and other intellectual property. Alteration includes, but is not limited to: rolling a bat in a vice, hitting foreign objects other than the proper balls, inner wall shaving, end-loading the bat, or any other "bat doctoring" that is designed to change the character of performance of the bat in any way. Suspected alteration of the bat will nullify the warranty. Only bats specified to have the 1-year warranty apply.

Warranty Limitation and Exclusion. It is hereby agreed that the liability of Baden shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the nonconforming product as provided above. Use of bats is inherently dangerous and Baden and its employees, officers, directors and suppliers shall not be liable for any other damages, direct, indirect or consequential. Baden reserves the right to refuse warranty service to any person who our Warranty Department deems as abusing our products or warranty policy.
